At AVE•NTA, we have a story of friendship, passion, and intercultural harmony. What started as a professional relationship between our founder, Martín Gutiérrez, and a former client, Goerdt Abel, blossomed into a friendship and working partnership. Hailing from San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and Bavaria, Germany, respectively, both shared a passion for designing and manufacturing pieces that are as beautiful as they are functional.

Twelve years ago, María and Goerdt Abel entrusted Martín with the renovation of the furniture for their new home in San Miguel de Allende. Both, specialists with different skills, continued collaborating on subsequent projects, both personal and commercial. Naturally, the workload increased, and the factory and infrastructure grew in parallel. In a pivotal moment in 2020, Goerdt and Martín traveled to Germany to evaluate and invest in state-of-the-art machinery. The equipment was shipped to Mexico in three large containers, and AVE•NTA was ready to embark on a new chapter with more design and innovation possibilities.

From its humble beginnings in what was once a farm animal pen, AVE•NTA has evolved into a modern factory with over 50 employees, 3 internal departments, and the best technology. It is a joint effort, combining the soul of Mexican craftsmanship with the precision of German technology.
